KadoKita’s Innitiative Honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Monday, 14 October 2019

Cancer is known to be one of the most dangerous and frightening illness worldwide, including Indonesia. Cancer cases in Indonesia are ranked 8th within South East Asia and 23rd in Asia. One of the most common cancers found in Indonesia is breast cancer. According to the Ministry of Health, the rate of breast cancer cases in Indonesia is 42.1 out of 100,000 civilians with an average rate of death of 17 out of 100,000 civilians.

Every year, we honor October as the Breast Cancer Awareness month. As a part of KadoKita’s CSR program as well as to increase the awareness of breast cancer and to raise money for cancer patients, KadoKita alongside some of its partners, organized an event called Breast Cancer Talkshow & Influencer Art Camp. On September 21st, KadoKita together with 8 influencers – Kanty Wii, Agung Pinota, Cathy Sie, Shafa Lubis, Angelica Manopo, Christina Chandra and Alvin Maxlvin gathered at a proud center of art exhibition Tugu Kunstkring Paleis Menteng, a partner from Sweetest Things and Delightful Cuisine box.

Collaborating with another partner from Playful Breaks, Fun Leisure and Maxi Breaks Boxes, Bartega Studios, the eight influencers had a memorable time painting their masterpieces while sipping wine to raise money through an auction. The paintings will be auctioned on each of the influencer’s own Instagram pages on the 1st of October where all donations will be given to LovePinkIndonesia Foundation.

At the same time, KadoKita is also raising money through kitabisa.com which can be accessed with this link www.kitabisa.com/kadountuklovepink until the 27th of October and giving 10% of its profit of October sales accumulated to the foundation.  All of these funds and donations will be given to LovePinkIndonesia Foundation at the end of the month at Tugu Kungstring. KadoKita hopes these raised funds will be beneficial to help breast cancer patients with their treatments. You can contribute to this cause by joining the silent auction or donating through our KitaBisa.com page. Let’s let them know that they are not alone, let’s help them fight this fight together.
